Bible reading: "I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ." Galatians 1: 6-7
INTRODUCTION
From these two verses, I saw three things and that is what I want us to take along with us as we study together: A kingdom switched, ticket to each kingdom, and kingdom Ambassadors. The word another means 'not the same', and nothing as well as changed about the meaning of gospel; right from time it is known as good news, and so it is till date. Combining the two words for easy understanding produces this quoted phrase "not the same good news." While studying at first, what I couldn't easily understood was that this error teachings is also referred to as gospel. Therefore if gospel means good news, what then is Apostle Paul insinuating, when he said, it ought to be rejected?
EXPOSITION
The churches in Galatia are of people who are soundly converted to God, Apostle Paul knew that there will be a test of faith and that the opposition of the true gospel would come after his leaving, but he was still greatly dissapointed for the fact that, how would people of such renewed mind have so soon made shipwreck of their faith, so slack and easily let down their guards with no single defense. Let's weigh a comparison between the Galatians and people in today's Christian hood. Are we better, alike or worse than the Galatians? Then, it was on issues of law and grace alone, but now it is of baseless divisions. Leaders and members, mentors and mentorees are painting faith with extreme absurdity, doing the business of the kingdom with rivalry. Preaching church and not Christ, this as gone deep in practice that congregation soakly believes in their churches and not much in christ. Contented hearing from their pastors and not from God. Let's pause a bit and visualise all these sayings.
WHAT IS ANOTHER GOSPEL?
It is a gospel, but not the same gospel the disciples of Jesus witnessed. Apostle John says, "That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life; (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us)." 1 John 1:1-2. It is a teaching of distorted version, made up with twisted lies. A different kind of teaching offered as a gospel truth but perverted, fashioned with hypocritical analysis to facilitate confusion in conviction costume. Another gospel gives birth to disorderliness, and disorderliness has no good to offer the church, but only damage a lot and empower Satan. No matter how spiritually strong the church is, once another gospel is entertained it keeps doing what it knows best, uprooting the word of truth from the congregations' heart; damaging the truth and managing lies.
WHO ARE THE PROFESSOR OF ANOTHER GOSPEL?
No man that keep walking with God can be an ambassador or victim of another gospel but those who are walking or had walked out on God, and this is a parallel assurance that such people retain not in them, the teachings of Christ. When you walk out from Christ teaching, you walk out on God. It was immediately the prodigal son left the jurisdiction of his father that another master received him and made him slave to pig. Imagine, not a slave for himself but that of his pig.
Jesus teaches "But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in." Matthew 23:13. Sweet and smooth eloquentness is not a proof of dispersing the truth, while vocabularies, scripture nice summaries, quotes and motivating stories are not the components that make up Rhema. These sect of people Jesus talked about are religious and sound in their various offices, but they are earthly focus. They seek wealth, fame, applause, recognition, attention, denominational respect, degrees, supporter numerical strengths and dependency in their delicacies or delegacies, these are the looks and knows of the professors of another gospel. They are crooked workers, pretended to be apostles, but have no mission from Christ. They are preachers but not Christ followers, kingdom of God doesn't recognize them, even though they wrought miracles and give prohphecies. Jesus says of a time like this, "Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 7:22. Just like what the map of the spirit realm explains, "when you are turning away from God, you are returning again to the world. And to every kingdom switched, there is always a transfer of allegiance."
Some years ago, I was heading an assembly of brethren. During our first minister's retreat program, the woman who came to ministered gave me some personal advice, although she threw it openly. she said, "it is not all about being harsh or strategising a pattern of war against indisciplined that will make you a great and stress-free leader, but going to solitary place of prayer to ask for your authority, then just like unto Joshua, the people will all willingly submit to you and you will always be able to feed them as the Lord has called you". Human halseny or conjecture cannot establish a gospel truth. Many assemblies head are raising beastly ministers and workers (that modifier may look somehow but that is the perfect word for it's description, in order to see the true pictures). In every way, their conducts failed in God's word. Whenever I look within the fold starting from the theologians, to the appointees, mentors and mentorees; I use to question myself that if those outside the faith community later have conviction and encounter, but while entering into the fold meeting all these discord and confusion, what will be the outcome? We have been manipulated, this is not what Christ taught. Jesus ministry was at first appreciated by his beneficiaries and later rejected at Pilates court, no matter the excuses, rejection is rejection. This remain till he died and with additional terror and persecution against his disciples, things begin to get worst. Amidst all these, Peter stood, preached and three thousand souls were converted and added to the church within some hours. That doctrine of Christ earlier denied and rejected was later accepted willingly and day unto day were increments to the body of Christ. There is no need of abuses and all likes to preach Jesus or affirm the gospel truth, as long as it is nothing but the truth, the truth will surely prevail. I have met with several youths and aged anointed men in various offices online who took delights in arguments, proving one denomination or doctrine is better that the other, is Christ divided? Slanderous communications against doctrines, assemblies' aspersions or it's founder's defamation are all things uncalled for and totally unheard of. As long as we keep on with these things, we are walking out of Christ doctrine and walking in to be a facilitator of another gospel.
