21 Secrets to answered prayers (1 - 11)

Scriptural directions given to pray

1. Know your God: You don't know God hoping in materials you read. The knowledge of God is perfectly seen at the point of an encounter. The God we serve answers prayer, know Him for who He is and it manifest.
2. Pray in His desire not yours: How do you pray by God's desire. Abide in His Word (Jesus) and let it abide in you. Many thing is running through you, but let the spirit of God leads you, it may be compulsory to you but to God, He sees it not to be necessary. Pray in His desire always.
3. Don't convet to convey your prayer: Many people says I covet power of that minister and I key into it. Coveteousness is a disaster to the life's of the redeemed child of God. It is one of the works of the flesh that destroyed David and bring curse to his generation, same thing to Gehazi and Achan. It is normal that faith is always being triggered by the word of testimonies, let your faith be awake and not the desire to covet.
4. Always give thanks and praise to God no matter what: David says "seven times I praise God and three times I meditate, day and night." God never failed him, for a warfare, enter God's presence with thanks in your heart and with praise to His court, He will rise to defend your cause. Remember Jehoshaphat and the asaph in battle.
5. Put God first: Joshua applied this and the chief army commander of heaven came and fought his battle, the day he proceeded with self knowledge of strategy, he encounter loss. In warfare and other types of prayer, intimacy powered victory always. No one stay close to God and suffered, even without praying Long. He is always favoured (Romans 9:15).
6. Understand God: God is not any Human or Spirit that receives dictates from anyone or anything. Scripture says His word is exalted above all powers, angels, principalities, thrones, dominions. "Let my handwork command me..." that we read, with the contents of the whole passage, it supposed to end with question mark. Have this in mind when you pray, you plead to the one you choose and believe as God (He was the one who created you and all things, He alone can decide your fate), but you can command devil, demons, principalities, thrones, situations, circumstances and others.
7. Have faith: Hebrews 11:6 says, he who comes to God must believe He is, how can you receive from who does not exist? There is a need of faith; this word has been massly misinterpreted in the Christianhood. Our lives has been mastered by the saying of seeing is believing and not believing is seeing. We have believers by religion, denomination, birth and the likes but not a man of faith by conviction, who are ready to live in and for christ alone. Jesus says your little faith will move mountains, that is, it will make imposibility possible. He said little faith, not little song, little fast or little word. Faith quickens a direct answer to our request. Jesus says immediately you apply it, you testify.
8. God does not relate with what He cannot tolerate: James 4:8 make it cleared enough to us that, sin breeds gap and hinders a flow of fluent communication between man and God, the Israelites are suffering and keep calling unto God, but they have no response. God so therefore speak unto Isaiah, tell my people their iniquities withhold their answers. No reconciliation, no jubilation.
9. Prayer is to be said at God's presence: Prayer can be made at any where anytime, either in the wilderness, beach, home, farm, road side, just mention the venue, but the most important thing is that, it should be where you can reach God's presence. God presence is everywhere, but it is not everyone that can reach it (Psalms 24:3-4). There is different between His presence everywhere and His presence here. It is of all truth that our God is Omnipresent, He can attend, engage or witness to all things, but His presence here is quite different. Every religion prays, what distinguishes the prayer of a Christian is the prayer said in His presence.
10. The secret of a man that whenever he whispers, God do listen is doing God's will. "Well, God doesn’t listen to evil men, but he has open ears to those who worship Him and do His will. " John 5:31. There are personalty in the kingdom; recognition will only come upon your spirit man when you fulfill His will. Jesus said, my relations are those who hears the Word and does His will. The request of a man is automatically honoured because of his heart thirsty for the will of God.
11. Have a right heart: what God seeks, searches or screens to seal a prayer is whether the man's heart is set right. What defileth a man is not his intake but what he already had within coming out. The cry of a Christian can only be altered or manipulated when it comes from a wrong, corrupt or defiled heart. Man may look at the capacity of the church, your money or tongues strength and try to conclude that it will make God listens whenever you call. But this is the gospel truth, the look and search of God is not facial, surface or carnal but rather deep, spiritual and to the heart.
