Bible reading: Colossians 2: 14-15
Redemption power is found in nothing else, but in the blood of Jesus. When applied to a life, it cleanses, fixes and refine, transforming it into perfect light of God. it was by the reason of this light, that darkness is terrified and trembles unto subjection. Hallelujah!
It takes a man with insight to see and that of foresight to know. Every oppression in this world comes from the devil. There is no one Satan cannot tempt, that is his nature. The Scripture says, and Jesus was brought forward to be tempted by Satan (Matthew 4: 1) Imagine Jesus was not excluded from his prey to pursue, then who are you? When you know of what you are about to face, you will know of how to prepare for it. The intensity of a challenge prompt the sharpness of it tackles. Naturally, it looks stupid to conquer a battalion with a thousand. You don't need to know much about Satan, but the scripture says we are not to be ignorant of his device. When you master the strategy of your enemy you Lord over his camp. Jesus fasted and prayed in confinement for forty good days and nights, yet he never escape to be tempted. No matter how frightened your looks are, prayerful you might be, how fervent you fast, it does not suspend Satan from reaching you, one way or the other, that is what we call nature. Nature is quite different from habit or character, it is what you are and not what you do.
I was flipping through the pages of the scripture one day as I studied on Anointing, Psalms 89: 20 says, God himself found David and anointed him with His holy oil, yet Satan approached him and lured him to sin against God, taking census of the Israelites. Act 10: 38 says, God himself anointed Jesus with Holy Ghost and power, yet Satan tempted him three times at three different locations with three different things. We are to know who we are, satan is good in his doing. Forget your speaking in toungues, it is not a certificate to freedom from the shackles of demonic influence, Jesus was anointed with Holy Ghost, Satan still prick Him with thorns of temptation.
The description of demonic influence is not only of those who are in need of deliverance ministers, but to everyone who are been held captive in the fortress of darkness. Influence is a key to leadership, the fall of Satan is all about his pride and lust for God's throne, which led to his rebellion, this had mastered him and thus control him till now, that has been his vision and this becomes his drive. Jesus once said prince of this age (referring to satan) has been judge, just in a short time, he assumes higher rank as apostle Paul addressed him as god of this age. From a prince to a god, now he wishes his kingdom to be in the world and not in this world, he needs you, needs your friends, needs your family, need your colleagues as a rebel to achieve such. Demonic influence therefore equates to being under the reign of darkness. Peter explained clearly, "While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage." 2 peter 2: 19.

Who are those under demonic influence?
To be able to answer above question, we need to give the below a response first, Who mastered you? or What has mastered you? Apostle John said in 1 John 3: 8-10 "But if you keep on sinning, it shows that you belong to Satan, who since he first began to sin has kept steadily at it... 9 The person who has been born into God’s family does not make a practice of sinning because now God’s life is in him; so he can’t keep on sinning, for this new life has been born into him and controls him—he has been born again. 10 So now we can tell who is a child of God and who belongs to Satan. Whoever is living a life of sin and doesn’t love his brother shows that he is not in God’s family".
Darkness will always have a legal stand over the state of mind, that is not under the government of light. So a man who love and practice the works of the flesh has been mastered by the demonic kingdom. Dominance of the kingdom of darkness on a man will blind his eyes against the treasure light of the good news and abstain him from practicing love, the greatest commandments which equivalent to total disobedience to the will of God.

How to be free from demonic influence.
There is no pattern or methods for it, holy Jesus is the only answer. Our reading says, "[God] disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it [the cross]." colossians 2: 15. Every man that conquered sin and demons in his life, is a man that have no live of his own but live his life in God. The word of God was incarnated and bring public disgrace to Satan, stripped him naked and disarmed him, and ever since that time, satan was subdued and has never recover. here are three weapons satan feared, and all these are all about Christ: Light, the word and redemption blood. When Christ is in you, you become the most honoured, incomparable, unbreakable, untouchable, irreplaceable, irresistible to devil. All you need is Jesus, His name alone is a strong tower, when His word abides in you, you become the abode of the greatest, now greater is He that is in you than he who roars and control this age. Gross and thick darkness cannot withstand the light of God, when light is in darkness is off. A total deliverance comes upon a man chained and controlled by demons, the day he comes to accept the light of God (John 8: 12). Nothing in this life and that to come has defense against the blood of Jesus, scripture says, Satan was molest, defeated and send to barnishment by the blood of Jesus and the testimony of the word. Brethren, it is so glaring; no kingdom to Satan against the redeemed, Jesus says, the branches of the vine, the members of my body, those who abide in me, shall I established and the power of Hades, the gates of hell, the influences from the dark realm, though it approached them will never prevail. If satan is ruling you or sin masters you, take note you are not yet been born of God, the son of God has manifested for this reason to destroy the works of satan, the works is destroyed already, make a decision today. Jesus is the only way out. I refuse to allot my life to satan, Amen
