Our topic today can be re-phrased to Weakness of human nature. But will like to refer to flesh and blood in this context as "Common Sense".
Jesus said to Peter in Matt6:17 "Flesh and Blood have reveal this to you..." Meaning there is no way your human nature or sense would have reveal this to you.
John 4:24, "God is Spirit, those who worship Him, must worship Him in Spirit..." meaning it is impossible to communicate with God with your human nature, in the flesh.
1 Corinthians 2:14 also established that fact "But a natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God..."

And then Jesus said to His disciples in Mark 4:11, saying "it is given unto you to understand the mystery of the kingdom..." And same Jesus said to His disciples again during one of His teachings that He has so many things He did like to share with them, but right they can't comprehend, why? Because it was beyond the human reasoning.

The message here is: Flesh and blood does not discern the things of God because flesh and blood is subjected to the consciousness​ of the world and it's environment, going through Genesis 6:1-3 "KJV: And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,
KJV:That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.
KJV:And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years." The flesh after the fall of man in Genesis 3, has been so sensitive to the physical environment that it can see beyond the physical.

Flesh and blood hinders faith because faith work is on what is not seen just believing according to Heb 11:1, while flesh and blood moves by what is seen.

The verse 8 of our bible text makes it glaring that human nature cannot please God, it disturbs the flow of the Spirit.

Conclusion: Flesh and Blood is the limiting factor to our relationship with God. God is Supernatural while flesh and blood is natural, we need to upgrade to be able to operate in the realm of the supernatural. Cry for an encounter today
